New companies at Seafood Expo Russia 2021 – part 2

Expo Solutions Group prepared a series of news dedicated to new exhibitors from different segments. Below please see the second part of Seafood Expo Russia new participants exhibiting sections "Aquaculture", "Catching and processing", "Specialized equipment", "Services".

1. AquaMaof is an Israeli aquaculture equipment manufacturer. Specializes in the development of cost-effective terrestrial indoor aquaculture technology that makes seafood production efficient and environmentally friendly.

The implemented new generation aquaculture technology is a smart ecosystem based on a closed water supply installation. Several patents are used on water purification and filtration techniques to reduce water consumption. The integrated technology is based on efficient energy management. Strict biosecurity protocols and complete environmental control eliminate the use of antibiotics and chemicals and ensure high fish survival. Carefully designed, scalable and flexible design provides the ability to adapt to different requirements and the introduction of new technologies as they become available.

2. Biomar is one of the world's largest suppliers of aquaculture feed, with 17 plants in Europe, Asia, Australia and South America with a total annual production of about 2 million tonnes. In 2020, BioMar produced 1.34 million tonnes of feed for 45 species of fish and crustaceans, which were supplied to more than 80 countries around the world.

BioMar has been operating on the Russian market for over 20 years, being one of the largest suppliers of feed for trout and sturgeon fish. The Russian company of the group, OOO BioMar, has a warehouse with a capacity of 3,000 tons and the ability to supply feed to all regions of Russia.

3. Marine Complexes and Systems - provision of services and supply of products of own design and manufacture. On the exhibition the company will demonstrate the operation of the FishGUARD radar security system for fish farms. The system is capable of monitoring an area of ​​15 km2, recognizing multiple targets in all weather conditions. FishGUARD is compatible with thermal imagers, cameras and automatic warning systems. The high resolution of the radar station allows geo-referencing of targets with an accuracy of 1.5 m and detecting a potential hazard before penetrating the object.

4. Ulma Packaging - production of packaging equipment. On the exhibition the company will demonstrate use of the universal thermoformer TFS 200 MSV (packaging of finished products for retailers).

The thermoformer allows to produce 3 different types of packaging:

modified atmosphere packing;

vacuum packing;

skin packaging.

5. Navada is the official representative of the South Korean company RMPG (Russian Maritime Production Group), which manufactures the entire range of fish processing equipment and has been cooperating with large Russian fishing enterprises in the Far East for many years.

Navada combines Russian engineering with cutting edge South Korean technology. The company's equipment is highly productive and easy to maintain at the same time. Production facilities are located on more than 3000 m2 of area: two workshops in South Korea (Busan) and one in the Russian Federation (Vladivostok).
