KRF is a group of companies working in the field of industrial ocean fisheries, fish processing and sales of finished products. The group of companies is managed from offices in Petrozavodsk, Murmansk and Arkhangelsk. The CRF values ​​its history, which it leads from the White Sea Base of State Fishing, founded on April 26, 1951 by the Order of the Ministry of Fisheries of the Karelian-Finnish SSR. In 1990, the White Sea base of the state name changed its name to OAO Karelrybflot. Today vessels of the companies of the KRF produce more than 100 thousand tons of fish per year. The main commercial species are the bottom: cod and haddock of the Barents and Norwegian seas, pelagic: capelin, blue whiting, herring, mackerel, mined in foreign zones of Norway, Faroe Islands, Greenland, Atlantic Ocean control zone. At the heart of the investment policy of the group of companies KRF is the maintenance of the fleet of enterprises using the newest technologies of fishing and processing at sea. As part of the holding's fleet, three foreign-built vessels working on the bottomfish fishery, as well as the holding's pride - three "Moonsund" trawlers, equipped with the most productive equipment. Trawler "Amber" in 2016 took the first place in terms of production among vessels of the Northern Basin.
